Introducing the Wyen Family. They were such a great and easy family to photograph. I tend to get nervous when I do large groups like this because they can be challenging at times but everything went well and had a beautiful day for it!

Take A Minute.

I typically don't post personal things on my blog but this needs some attention and prayers.

Just the other day I was notified that a good friend of mine, Kate was in the hospital, she was having an allergic reaction to a medication. Since I got word on Tuesday things have not gotten any better for her. Last night she was transported to The OSU Medical Center and placed in the Burn Unit. Kate was also a bridesmaid in my wedding that is this coming Saturday, which she is devastated that she can not attend. We all want her to get better and heal soon!

Here is a description of what she is now being faced with:

Stevens-Johnson Syndrome, also known as SJS and Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis, is a potentially deadly skin disease that is usually the result a drug reaction.Stevens Johnson Syndrome is a severe disorder of mucous membranes. It can have signs and symptoms similar to those of severe erythema multiforme, a skin condition that causes blistering and erosion of the skin and mucous membranes, especially in the mouth. Doctors believe this disorder is an allergic or hypersensitivity reaction.

Please Keep Kate in your thoughts and Prayers.

Vordemark Fam!

This session was so much fun and just free spirited. Just how I want to shoot all my family sessions. When you have kids this age you just have to go with the flow and let them run the show. It makes a world of a difference and the photos end up with so much more personality then forcing them in a pose!

Anna High School Football Poster

I took this photo at the Springfield National Guard Base yesterday.

CHICAGO | Here we come!

I am headed to Chicago Monday & Tuesday this week for an engagement shoot for John & Lisa!  Little background.... John & Lisa currently live in Chicago but are getting married in New Bremen, OH... They didn't have a chance to get back home for their e-session so I offered to come to them! Road Trip Baby! I am bringing along a crew! 

Brad & Joni another killer couple of mine at the last minute I asked them to come along for Brad to shoot pictures of me shooting John & Lisa's engagement session for a little documentary type commercial I will be debuting! Since Brad & Joni will be there as well we are going to shoot there engagement session on Tuesday afternoon before we hit the road to come home. Adrienne a good friend of mine is coming along to keep me company as well so I am not the third wheel ;)... She can hold a reflector too... yeah! 

I will be back Wednesday for another busy day! With a senior session in the AM... and then I will be heading down to Springfield to shoot the Anna High School Senior Poster! Which I am VERY pumped about!

Thanks for having me! It was so nice to shoot at a new location! I had a great time with you guys! Really wish we had more time to spend at that rock garden you brought us to! It was amazing and it just hidden back there! I can't wait to bring someone back there for a shoot!
