Dylan celebrated his first b-day here at the studio last week!

Silvana is 1!

Is she not a ham for the camera! I had a really awesome time with this shoot along with all the other big 1 year olds I have photographed the past couple weeks. But this shoot just really stood out Silvana warmed right up to me and just moved in like the studio was her home. Check out the Cheerios pictures they are awesome. Thanks Chris for saving the day and bringing them!

Welcome Jackie!

I am Proud to say Jackie is the Newest addition to Picture Perfect! She will be the full time photographer for Picture Perfect Babies at Wilson Memorial Hospital!

So heres a little bit about Jackie (from the words of Jackie!)

I’ve been the “artsy” kid all my life. Drawing, doodling, and painting – I love it all – and I’ve been doing it for as long as I can remember. I have an unquenchable desire to make something; to create something. When I was in college, my sister and I started a small photography business. The more I stood behind the lens, the more I wanted to make a career in photography.

With ten nieces and nephews, my subject of choice was obvious. Babies and kids are so unpredictable and their personalities shine in front of a camera. I’ve specialized in childhood photography for about four years now. When I was offered an opportunity to photograph newborn babies, I couldn’t pass it up. A year later, with experience with hundreds of day-old clients, I am now able to showcase my work at Wilson Memorial. I have to say, it’s so great to be home. I’m a Shelby County girl and I couldn’t be happier doing what I love in a small town I’m so familiar with.

Thank you both so much for having me be part of your vary personal intimate wedding. I am in love with the Versailles Inn now and want to have my wedding reception there... After I get engaged which means I need to find a girlfriend... so that could be awhile, but anyhow everything was great I really enjoyed the change!

Picture Perfect Babies is taking shape, the site is still a work in progress but most of it is done right now!

I can't tell you all how excited I am about this new venture! I have always dreamed of having a "Job" in the medical field, I am not sure if it was because I wanted to wear the scrubs but mainly being able to help people.

Although my path in life lead me to Photography, I am now getting the best of both worlds! No we wont be wearing scrubs but the thought crossed my mind.... but we will be helping people document those brief moments in life that pass by so fast!
